This Privacy Policy explains how Avallach Technology, operated by Gary Wilmot, handles information when you use avallach.com, join the free video series, contact Avallach or follow a recommended link.
Avallach aims to collect only what is reasonably needed to provide the website, communicate with you, keep the site working and understand whether its content and signup journey are useful.
Information collected
Free video series and email
When you use the free-series form, you provide your name and email address. The form is supplied by AWeber and sends those details directly to AWeber so Avallach can deliver the requested video series and related emails. Avallach also sends campaign fields identifying the originating Avallach page and form position. AWeber records operational information associated with the signup, which may include the form used, signup page, subscription status, IP address, approximate location, browser or service-security information.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an Avallach email. AWeber may retain limited suppression information after an unsubscribe so that the opt-out can continue to be respected. You can read the AWeber Privacy Policy for information about its own processing and service providers.
Contact messages
When you use the Contact page, Avallach collects the name, email address and message you enter. The website and its email-delivery providers process that information so Gary can read and respond to your enquiry.
Conversion measurement
Avallach uses a small first-party measurement system to understand which pages help readers take a useful next step. It records when:
- a link to the Start section is selected;
- at least part of the free-series form becomes visible;
- the free-series form is submitted; or
- a visitor follows the Avallach hand-off to Modern Wealthy.
The measurement record contains the event type, date and time, current and originating Avallach page, form or link position, destination without its private query details, and campaign fields used for attribution. Avallach’s measurement table does not store your name, email address, IP address, user-agent string or a persistent visitor identifier.
A short-lived browser session value may carry the originating page to the Start form when you move between Avallach pages in the same tab. It contains page-attribution information only, expires after 30 minutes and is cleared when the form is submitted. The detailed first-party measurement events are deleted after 90 days.
Affiliate-link measurement
Avallach uses Easy Affiliate Links to manage and measure some outgoing links. Its WordPress records may include the date, link selected, referring page, requested route, IP address, browser or user-agent information and device classification. Those records are used to understand referral activity, check that links work and investigate tracking problems, and are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
When you continue to Modern Wealthy or LaunchYou, ordinary campaign parameters may identify Avallach, the originating article or page, and the form or link position. Avallach does not put your name or email address into those campaign parameters. The external provider may record its own transaction ID, device, browser, request and campaign information and operates under its own privacy terms. You can read the LaunchYou Privacy Statement.
Technical and security information
Like most websites, Avallach’s hosting, security and email infrastructure may process technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL, time, browser information, referrer and security events. This information is used to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
Cookies and browser storage
The Avallach conversion-measurement system does not set a persistent tracking cookie. It uses the short-lived session value described above only when needed to carry a source page to the Start form.
The embedded AWeber form loads resources from AWeber, including form-display measurement and service-security technology. AWeber or its infrastructure may use provider-side cookies or similar technology according to its own policy and your browser settings. WordPress and security services may also use cookies needed for administration, security or basic site operation.
At the date of this policy, Avallach has not detected Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel or a similar advertising-profile system on its public pages. If the measurement setup changes materially, this policy will be updated.
How information is used
Avallach uses information to:
- deliver the free video series and related Avallach emails you requested;
- respond to contact messages;
- operate, secure and troubleshoot the website;
- understand which articles, pages, forms and links lead to useful actions;
- measure affiliate referrals, sales and commissions where the provider reports them; and
- meet legal obligations and protect Avallach’s legitimate interests.
Service providers and external websites
Information may be processed by providers that help operate the website and email service, including AWeber, website hosting and security providers, WordPress form and email-delivery services, and professional advisers where reasonably necessary. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to protect rights, safety or security.
Some providers process information outside Australia, including AWeber in the United States. Their own terms, security arrangements and privacy policies apply to their processing.
Links to Modern Wealthy, LaunchYou, YouTube, Facebook and other external services take you to websites Avallach does not control. Review the destination’s privacy information before providing personal information there.
Retention and security
Avallach keeps information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to respect an unsubscribe, maintain necessary business records, resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. The specific 90-day limit for Avallach’s detailed first-party measurement events is described above.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and questions
You can unsubscribe from Avallach emails using the link in any email. You may also ask what personal information Avallach holds about you, request a correction or deletion where appropriate, or raise a privacy concern.
